Destinations Americans Can Travel Right Now
We are almost a year into this Covid-19 pandemic which banned us from traveling to certain destinations. BUMMER! As this year comes to a close, many people are questioning when exactly will we be able to travel again! So, if you are ready and anticipating travel in 2021 here are the destinations Americans are allowed to visit:
Albania:
You actually don't need a test to visit Albania but you will probably go through health screenings and will need to wear face masks when inside and on public transportation. You won't find any direct flights to Albania from the U.S, you will have to find connecting flights when booking.
Brazil:
You are required to wear face masks in Brazil and you must show proof of health insurance before arriving. Your health Insurance must be valid for the duration of your trip in Brazil and a minimum of $5,314 of coverage is needed.
Columbia:
You will need to complete an immigration form once you arrive in Columbia. Also, no need to show a negative Covid-19 test to visit.
Costa Rica:
No need to show a negative Covid-19 test result when arriving but you complete a health pass and show proof of your health insurance.
Dominican Republic:
It's a toss up here, you may or may not be required to take a Covid-19 test and temperature check when visiting, this is done randomly for passengers. They do have a curfew from 9pm to 5am on weekdays and 7pm to 5am on the weekends that passengers must comply to.
Kosovo:
Americans can visit Kosovo but there is a curfew on restaurants from 11:30pm to 5am.
Mexico:
Although you cannot cross into Mexico by car for non-essential travel, there is no restrictions to travel to Mexico by air. There also are no Covid-19 testing requirements and you won't have to quarantine. You will have to wear a mask indoors.
North Macedonia:
No negative Covid-19 test results are required but you may have to submit to a health screening when visiting.
Serbia:
You will have to wear a face mask when indoors and in public places but you will not have to provide negative Covid-19 test results when visiting.
Tanzania:
You may be asked to provide negative Covid-19 test results. However, there are no quarantine requirements traveling to Tanzania.
Turkey:
As long as you don't show any Covid-19 symptoms then you won't have to provide a negative Covid-19 test results or quarantine when visiting turkey.
